Everything You May Want to Know Before Working With EcomManage
Choose a category to jump directly to the questions most relevant to your store, project, or service requirement.
What services does EcomManage provide?
EcomManage supports ecommerce businesses across four main areas: marketplace store management, Shopify store solutions, ecommerce growth and advertising, and professional business email solutions.
Depending on the agreed scope, support can include store setup, product listings, catalog management, inventory-related updates, orders, customer support, returns, account health, advertising, Shopify setup and maintenance, email setup, migration, authentication, and ongoing administration.
What type of ecommerce businesses do you work with?
We can support new sellers, established ecommerce businesses, growing brands, multi-channel sellers, Shopify stores, and businesses that need operational help across one or more marketplaces.
The right scope depends on your store size, product catalog, current systems, marketplace activity, and the tasks you want EcomManage to handle.
Do you work with new stores as well as existing stores?
Yes. We can support businesses preparing a new ecommerce store or sales channel, as well as existing stores that need ongoing management, catalog cleanup, operational support, optimisation, or help organising day-to-day work.
Do I need to know exactly which service I need before contacting you?
No. If you know the problem but are not sure which service fits it, explain your current situation during the consultation. We can discuss the relevant service area and what type of support may make sense for your requirements.
Do you offer one-time projects or ongoing ecommerce management?
Both can be discussed. Some businesses need a defined project such as store setup, migration, product upload, email configuration, or a specific optimisation task. Others need recurring support for marketplace operations, Shopify maintenance, advertising, or business email administration.
How does the EcomManage onboarding process work?
We begin by understanding your business, platforms, current setup, priorities, and the work you need help with. Where appropriate, we review the relevant store or account, define the scope, identify what access or information is required, and then begin the approved work.
You can see the full workflow on our Our Work Process page.
What should I prepare before a consultation?
You do not need a complicated document. It helps to know which platforms you use, approximately how many products you manage, what tasks are causing problems, what you currently handle internally, and what type of support you want to explore.
Which countries does EcomManage support?
EcomManage works remotely with ecommerce businesses and the website currently highlights support for businesses across the USA, UK, and Canada. If your business operates elsewhere, contact us with your requirements and we can discuss whether the service and working arrangement are suitable.
Which marketplaces can EcomManage support?
EcomManage provides marketplace support across channels including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, Wayfair, TikTok Shop, Temu, Poshmark, Best Buy, and other ecommerce platforms depending on the work required.
If your marketplace is not listed, tell us which platform you use and what you need help with so we can review the requirement.
Can you manage more than one marketplace for the same business?
Yes. Multi-marketplace support can be structured around the channels you sell on. The scope may vary by marketplace because each platform has different catalog, order, policy, advertising, and account-management requirements.
What does marketplace store management include?
Depending on the agreed scope, marketplace management can include product uploading, listing optimisation, catalog updates, competitor and market research, pricing updates, inventory-related tasks, order processing support, customer messages, returns and refund case support, promotions, advertising coordination, account health monitoring, and performance reporting.
Can you create and optimise product listings?
Yes. Listing work can include approved titles, descriptions, bullet points, attributes, categories, images, variations, pricing, identifiers, and other relevant product data. The exact listing fields depend on the marketplace and the information available for each product.
Can you manage a large product catalog?
Large catalogs can be supported, but the workload depends on product count, variation structure, category complexity, data quality, image availability, marketplace requirements, and how frequently information changes.
For larger catalogs, we normally define priorities and organise the work in a repeatable workflow rather than treating every item as a separate project.
Can you help with inventory and pricing updates?
Yes. Agreed inventory-related and pricing updates can be supported using the information or workflow supplied by your business. Final stock decisions, pricing strategy, and source data remain the responsibility of the business unless a different responsibility is specifically agreed.
Do you support order processing and customer service?
Order-related operational tasks and customer communication can be included in an ongoing management scope. The exact work depends on your marketplace, fulfilment model, internal process, and the permissions available in your account.
Can you help with returns, refunds, and marketplace cases?
Agreed return, refund, and case-management support can be included where the platform allows it and the required information is available. Final decisions may still depend on marketplace policy, seller authority, buyer circumstances, or your internal business rules.
Do you monitor marketplace account health?
Account-health and compliance-related monitoring can form part of ongoing store management. This can include reviewing relevant performance indicators, policy notifications, seller standards, and operational issues that require attention.
Marketplace decisions remain under the control of the platform, so EcomManage cannot guarantee that an enforcement action, restriction, or suspension will be reversed.
Can you manage TikTok Shop alongside Amazon, Walmart, or Shopify?
Yes. EcomManage can support TikTok Shop as part of a broader multi-channel operation. The workflow can be organised around recurring product, listing, pricing, availability, order, and catalog tasks across the channels included in your service scope.
Do you guarantee that marketplace management will increase my sales?
No. Marketplace performance can be affected by product demand, competition, pricing, reviews, fulfilment, listing quality, account history, advertising, seasonality, and platform changes.
Our role is to improve and manage the areas included in the agreed scope, not to promise a specific sales, ranking, traffic, or revenue outcome.
Managing More Than One Store or Marketplace?
Tell us which channels you sell on, your approximate catalog size, and which recurring tasks you want help managing. We can discuss a scope built around your actual workload.
What Shopify services does EcomManage provide?
Shopify support can include store setup, custom store design, theme customisation, product and collection setup, app integration, store migration, payment and shipping configuration, mobile optimisation, store maintenance, and ongoing support depending on the project scope.
Can you build a new Shopify store from scratch?
Yes. A Shopify setup project can include the agreed store structure, navigation, collections, products, theme configuration, key settings, apps, payment and shipping configuration, and launch preparation.
Can you redesign or customise an existing Shopify store?
Yes. Existing Shopify stores can be reviewed for theme structure, page layout, navigation, product presentation, collection organisation, mobile experience, and other agreed design or configuration improvements.
Can you upload products and create Shopify collections?
Yes. Product and collection setup can include titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, SKUs, product types, tags, collection rules, navigation relationships, and other agreed product data.
Can you install and configure Shopify apps?
Yes. App integration can include reviewing the requirement, installing or connecting an approved application, configuring agreed settings, placing relevant storefront elements, and testing the areas included in the scope.
Third-party app subscription fees are generally separate from EcomManage service fees.
Can you migrate an existing ecommerce store to Shopify?
Yes, where the source platform and available data support the required migration. Migration planning can include products, variants, collections, customer records, available order data, content, navigation, apps, URLs, and other agreed store elements.
Because platforms store data differently, some areas may require mapping, restructuring, manual work, or rebuilding rather than a direct copy.
Will my current design look exactly the same after a Shopify migration?
Not necessarily. Themes, templates, apps, checkout functionality, and page structures vary between platforms. A migration may involve recreating, adapting, or redesigning parts of the storefront to fit Shopify rather than copying the old platform exactly.
Do you provide ongoing Shopify maintenance after setup or migration?
Yes. Ongoing Shopify support can be discussed for product updates, catalog management, theme adjustments, app-related changes, store maintenance, and other recurring work included in the agreed scope.
Which ecommerce advertising channels do you support?
EcomManage currently provides advertising support around channels such as Amazon PPC, eBay Promoted Listings, Walmart Advertising, and Etsy Ads. The exact campaign options depend on your account, marketplace eligibility, products, and agreed scope.
What can ecommerce advertising management include?
Depending on the platform and scope, support can include campaign setup, keyword research, bid and budget-related management, listing considerations, campaign monitoring, search-term or performance review, optimisation, and reporting.
Is advertising spend included in your management fee?
Unless specifically stated otherwise in a proposal, the advertising budget paid directly to the marketplace or advertising platform is separate from EcomManage service fees.
Can you work with an existing advertising account?
Yes. Existing campaigns can be reviewed as part of an agreed scope. We may look at campaign structure, targeting, keywords, budget allocation, performance patterns, and areas that may require adjustment before making approved changes.
Can you help improve underperforming campaigns?
We can review and optimise campaigns where that work is included in the service scope. However, advertising performance is influenced by more than campaign settings. Product demand, pricing, reviews, listing quality, competition, conversion rate, seasonality, inventory, and budget can all affect results.
Do you guarantee a specific ROAS, number of sales, or revenue?
No. We do not guarantee a specific return on ad spend, number of orders, revenue level, impressions, clicks, ranking, or profit. We focus on structured campaign management and optimisation while reporting on the performance that the platform makes available.
Do you also optimise listings while managing ads?
Listing optimisation can be included or handled as a related service because advertising performance and product-page quality often affect each other. The exact work should be defined in the proposal so it is clear whether listing changes are part of the advertising scope.
Which business email platforms does EcomManage support?
EcomManage provides business email setup and administration support across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, and Zoho Mail.
Can you connect my existing domain to a business email service?
Yes. Domain verification and relevant DNS configuration can be supported when the required domain or DNS access is available. The exact records depend on the email platform and domain provider.
Can you set up professional email addresses for my team?
Yes. Approved users, mailboxes, aliases, groups, and shared business addresses can be organised according to your company structure and the features available in the selected email platform.
Do you configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
Domain authentication can be included in the email setup scope. This may involve SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and related DNS configuration where supported and appropriate for the selected provider and domain setup.
Can you migrate email from my current provider?
Email migration can be supported where the source and destination systems provide suitable migration methods. The scope may depend on mailbox count, data volume, source provider, account access, calendars, contacts, and other data that needs to move.
Can you configure business email on desktop and mobile devices?
Supported desktop and mobile email configuration can be included after the domain, user accounts, mailboxes, and email environment are prepared.
Do you provide ongoing email administration?
Yes. Ongoing support can be discussed for user changes, aliases, groups, mailbox administration, security settings, account configuration, and other recurring tasks that fall within the agreed scope.
How does EcomManage pricing work?
Pricing depends on the type of service, number of stores or marketplaces, catalog size, workload, complexity, advertising requirements, migration needs, user count, and whether the work is a one-time project or ongoing support.
We prefer to understand the requirement first and then define a clear scope and quote rather than applying the same package to every business.
Why do you need to review my requirements before giving a quote?
Two stores on the same marketplace can require very different levels of work. Product count, catalog condition, order volume, number of marketplaces, account status, migration complexity, advertising activity, and recurring task frequency can all change the workload.
Will I need to share access to my store or marketplace account?
Some services require account access. Whenever the platform supports it, we recommend using staff accounts, user roles, partner access, or delegated permissions instead of sharing a primary password.
We only need the level of access required for the work included in the agreed scope.
Should I share my main password with EcomManage?
Preferably not when a secure role-based or delegated option is available. Your business should retain account ownership, recovery methods, billing control, and administrator access.
How do you communicate during a project?
Communication is organised around the service and project needs. We aim to keep priorities, progress, required approvals, and issues clear so you know when input is needed from your side. The exact communication channel and update frequency can be agreed during onboarding.
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary by service. A small configuration task may be relatively short, while a large catalog, multi-marketplace setup, Shopify migration, or email migration can require a more structured implementation period.
Access, data quality, client approvals, third-party platforms, product volume, and project complexity can all affect timing.
What happens if my requirements change after work begins?
Ecommerce requirements often change. If you need additional platforms, tasks, users, products, integrations, advertising work, or other support outside the original scope, we can review the change and agree on the next step before additional work begins.
Can I start with a smaller project before choosing ongoing support?
Where the service allows it, yes. Some businesses begin with a defined project and later discuss recurring support once they understand the workflow and ongoing requirements.
Can EcomManage work alongside my existing internal team?
Yes. The scope can be organised around the responsibilities your team already handles. For example, your team may retain strategy, pricing, fulfilment, or final approvals while EcomManage supports agreed operational, catalog, advertising, Shopify, or email tasks.
What if I still cannot find the answer to my question?
Contact us or book a free consultation. Tell us which platform you use, what you need help with, and any relevant context. We can then discuss whether the requirement fits an EcomManage service and what the next step would be.
